Are there any mental health & wellbeing workshops for primary schools?

A-life have been running interactive primary school workshops for over 17 years. In 2020 they launced a mental health & wellbeing workshop which is fun, interactive and educational. It is based on the evidence based five ways to wellbeing. They have in-school or online workshops available. See below the feedbacks from some schools we worked with last term.

Feedback from primary schools

“The A-life Mental Health & Wellbeing session was Amazing! I have never seen my class so engaged in a workshop. Each station was exciting, fun and encouraged great team work. I am excited to follow up on GetCALM Activities. The trainer was patient, calm and explained everything clearly.” 5 ****** Byron Court Primary School

“The children were really engaged and enthusiastic about the mental health workshop! They wanted to discuss their learning with me. It has inspired activities in my own lessons. I thought the video and the worksheets were amazing! It really lifted my child up! Good work – parent feedback . ” Foxes Piece School, Bucks

It linked really well with our PSHE lessons where we’ve been learning how to be good friends to each other and how to be kind to other people. The children were really engaged with it and seemed to learn a lot from it. It linked really well to the rest of our curriculum as well and was really easy to use. Trinity School
