HAF holiday clubs with A-life / Feedback

This summer A-life visited holiday clubs in Leeds, Herts, Berkshire, Dagenham funded by the HAF programme. Please contact us if you would like us to visit your holiday club:

The HAF programme is an amazing scheme to help children during the school holidays to:

  • eat healthily over the school holidays
  • be active during the school holidays
  • take part in engaging and enriching activities which support the development of resilience, character and wellbeing along with their wider educational attainment
  • be safe and not to be socially isolated
  • have a greater knowledge of health and nutrition
  • be more engaged with school and other local services

“Very engaging for all ages – Excellent knowledge from session leader – Good selection of varied activities – Fun way to learn important lifeskills – Children were learning through playing the games. – Good round up chat at the end to see what the children have learnt. We cannot fault the session 10/10 it’s been amazing from Francis Baily Holiday Club. Children’s comments: Hettie enjoyed different activities to learn for our lives. Evie & Charlie – I liked wearing the sleep goggles and was amazed how much sugar there is in cola!!”
